Not sure which one you need? Tell us where the part lives — outside, in a garage, on a desk — and we'll pick it for you.
Crisp detail, dimensionally stable, easy to sand and paint. The right choice for display pieces, models, enclosures, and prototypes that stay indoors. Softens in a hot car.
Prints like PLA but noticeably less brittle, so it survives being dropped, screwed into, and handled. Worth the small upcharge on anything with thin walls or moving parts.
Bends before it breaks, shrugs off moisture, and handles sun and warm garages far better than PLA. The default for brackets, mounts, and anything that has a job to do.
Silk, matte, wood-fill, marble, and glow-in-the-dark. Same printing behaviour as standard PLA, very different finish — good for display and retail pieces.
Need ABS, ASA, nylon, carbon-fibre or flexible TPU? We don't print those, and we'd rather say so than take the job and hand you a warped part. Ask anyway — we'll tell you straight whether the design can be done in PETG instead.
| On a desk or shelf | PLA — best detail, easiest to finish |
|---|---|
| Handled, dropped, screwed into | PLA+ — far less brittle |
| In a warm garage or shed | PETG — PLA will soften and sag |
| Outdoors, occasional sun | PETG — holds up far better than PLA |
| Taking impact or vibration | PETG — bends before it snaps |
| Needs to look good on a shelf | Specialty PLA — silk, matte, wood, marble |
| Baking in a car or engine bay | Not a job for us — that needs ABS or ASA |
| Has to flex, grip or seal | Not a job for us — that needs TPU |
| Food, skin or medical contact | Ask first — printed parts are porous and not food-safe by default |
Send the file, the sketch, or the broken part. You'll have a written quote with a real turnaround, usually the same business day.
