What file formats do you accept?
STL, 3MF, STEP, and OBJ cover almost everything. If you have
something else — a SolidWorks part, a Fusion file, a scan — send it anyway and
we'll tell you if it opens cleanly.
I don't have a 3D model. Can you still help?
Yes, that's the modeling service. Photos with a ruler in frame,
caliper measurements, a hand drawing, or the original part are all workable
starting points. We'll quote the modeling and the printing separately so you can
see what each costs.
How much does a print cost?
It depends on material, size, and how long the machine is tied up
— not just how big the part looks. Small parts often come in under the cost of
shipping them. Send the file and you'll have a real number back the same day.
How big a part can you print?
400 × 400 × 450 mm in one piece — noticeably larger than most
print services, which usually top out around 250 mm. If your part came back "too
large" somewhere else, send it here before you redesign it. Past 400 mm we split
it along a seam you choose and join the sections.
How long does it take?
Typically 2–5 business days from approved quote to shipped, longer
for large batches or anything that needs modeling first. If you're against a
deadline, tell us the date up front and we'll say yes or no honestly.
What does shipping cost?
Nothing extra. Shipping is built into every quote, anywhere in the
country, so the number you approve is the number you pay. We don't offer local
pickup — everything ships.
Can you match a specific color?
We can get close from stock filament, and closer still with paint
or finishing. Exact brand-colour matching isn't something filament does reliably,
so if colour is critical we'll talk through finishing options instead of
promising a match we can't hit.
Will you print a model I found online?
If the license allows commercial printing, yes. We don't print
copyrighted or licensed characters, brand logos, or paid models being passed
along without a license — it puts both of us at risk. Original work and properly
licensed files are always fine.
