From a photo
A lithophane works because plastic blocks light. Dark parts of the photo print thick, bright parts print thin, and a lamp behind it turns the thickness back into the picture. Print Forge does that conversion, and shows you the backlit result before you commit an evening of print time to it.
The classic: a flat panel that looks blank on the shelf and holds a photograph when you put a light behind it. Framed, sized in millimetres, ready to print flat or upright.
A round medallion with a raised relief. A rounded tag with a real hole through it for the ring. Or a cut-out that takes its outline from your image's own transparency, so a logo prints as the logo and not as a rectangle.
Three previews: your source, the surface under raking light, and what it looks like lit from behind. If the photo is too busy or too dark to read as a lithophane, you find out now rather than in four hours.

Most of what people want printed is not art. It is a bin the right size for a drawer, a pot for the pens, a box for the dice, a base for a figure, a comb for the cables behind the desk. Give it the numbers and it builds the object around them.
Width, depth, height, wall thickness, and how many compartments across and deep. Rounded corners so it slides. Built as one piece, not a floor with walls balanced on it.
A lidded dice box with a clearance you set, so the lid actually fits. Round, hex or square pots. Lipped miniature bases in four outlines.
Every model is tested for watertightness, a single closed shell and consistent normals before the download is offered. A file that fails those checks is a file your slicer will argue with.
